The Bramlett Family Serving in Cameroon
Children: | Chantee Marguerite July 28, 1987

Mission Board: | We serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators |
Ministry: | Normally, I am the project leader for the Hdi Bible Translation Project. I work directly with DOUKA Salomon, KOUDOUTA Paul and Adamou, three choice vessels God has chosen to accomplish His purposes in Cameroon. I lead and disciple these men on a personal level so that God may impact the Hdi people through these men, as well as those I come in contact within the project. This includes 12 pastors and elders which meet every month and 21 pastors who meet quarterly for the Hdi Bible Translation project. I continue to serve the Hdi people by short village visit. We have just finished translating early chapters in Genesis to chapter 14. Late June of this year we begin Mark. This year God has given me the privilege of serving on the Administrative Team for the Cameroon Branch through the role of Director of Technical Services. In this role I assist the General Director in providing leadership to the Cameroonian Branch. I oversee the Aviation, Printing, Electronics, Media, Construction and Maintenance Departments. I also oversee our 60 employees working in Cameroon. Tammi home schools Emily, Brooke and Ida Rose. Chantée attends Rain Forest International School so that she may acquire the needed skills in Math and Science. Chantee has a bent toward the medical field. Tammi also serves on the Children's education committee for the Cameroon Branch. In Yaoundé we live in a nice home with electricity running water. We buy our vegetables from the local market and canned foods in small grocery stores. In the village we live in round huts with solar power and water we have carried from a well below our compound.

How to be involved: | Please pray for: 1. the Health of our family, as well as for the families of Paul, Salomon and Adamou. 2. the Scripture to be translated this year including: Genesis (Zlrafta) Chapters: 2, 3 ,4 6,7,8, 9, 12,13,14 and Luke. May God help us translate, check, revise and print this Scripture, and may the Hdi may start memorizing and applying God's Holy Word to their lives and culture. 3. Safety on the roads and air as we travel around Cameroon. 4. Lee ,that he may hear God's voice as he helps lead and shepherd 200 Wycliffe missionaries, 60 employees, and that Tammi may impart God's wisdom to the girls and be a blessing to the women of the Branch.

Association with Outreach: | We first became acquainted with Outreach when we were at John Brown in 1982 where we attended regularly. Outreach first supported us when we went to Quest and has been dear to our hearts like no other through out the years. It is certainly our privilege to serve on Outreach's behalf.
